Blog 7:script, Storyboard, Shot list

I came back to write this in Year 13 since we did not have much to discuss in the blog.

According to my memories, Louis and I were pretty into blue jokes in Year 12 for no reason. So the whole script started with a 3-minute discussion in which we were talking about sex and trying to get our classmate embarrassed. Therefore, the banana should be pretty self-explanatory.

At that time, there was a Chinese movie, which I cannot remember the name of, and the original Korean movie name from which the Chinese guys stole the script. The film was about two characters who got Thunderstrike and switched genders. Louis and I were known as two of the most abstractly humorous guys, so this inspired Danny's presentation. We were hoping that the presentation would successfully amuse the audience.

Funny fact: I got dumped during that time for being too enthusiastic about my 8th or 9th crush; I can't remember. This inspires Louis's presentation of being a playboy because I can never be one. And that was the societal problem that I wanted to reflect on in my storyboard.

One thing also worth mentioning is how we used exaggeration in the shot when L0uis was speaking, and Danny's hair went wild we were using. That also came to my mind during the 3-minute discussion, and we managed to get that down somehow.

We literally start all the shooting with only the figure of Louis eating bananas, like he's doing something else in our brain, and we improvise and try to figure out other things. We started the shooting in the art department and annoyed the art teacher because they were having an exam while everybody was watching Louis for his behavior.

Luckily, we did not get into trouble; we moved to the learning zone, which was 10 meters away from the art department. So, there is no shot list for us because the day we see the scene is the day we finish 70% of the shooting. I improvised all of the shots
