For some reason, we always choose fruit as the motif for our production. So instead, we choose Lemon Tree rather than Stan (?)
The song is in the style of late 70s indie rock.
The band Fools Garden was only known as famous for this hit in the late 90s. The song reached number 26 on the UK Singles Chart and remained number one for four weeks in Germany. It reached number one in Austria, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden.
The song was composed by the lead singer, who wrote it on a Sunday afternoon when he was waiting for his girlfriend, who did not come. There are some rumors that his girlfriend is dead, so he wrote this, but it is not valid.
The lyrics mentioned the lemon tree several times. However, the Official MV does not have any lemon imagery inside, and we are not capable of finding a place where there's only one lemon tree and getting Louis to climb up and sit on that. So we decided to follow Fool's Garden's will and not include lemon tree imagery but only lemons.
We also draw heavily on the concept of isolation from the world from the Official MV. In the Original MV, the lead singer is kept in a container and gets driven around on the road, symbolizing autism and isolation. That kind of influenced my idea, and we decided to rent a large warehouse, do some makeup, and do some weird stuff symbolizing isolation. I don't know; that's Danny's job.

It is always nice to have an MV giving us ideas, but we are somewhat restricted in creativity.
The song heavily emphasises "room", which can be comprehended as the mental obstacle that certain people have, isolated from the world. Therefore, we are going to rent a studio with enough light, set up a hyperreal scenery, and put some uncanny valley stuff inside.
Now see this PPT
I did not present this to the class since our group was using Danny's one. The class seems pretty satisfied overall.
In conclusion, our MV will emphasize the theme of isolation and violence, in which I got inspired by the killing type, where blood will be flying all over the place to challenge media regulation. We will also abandon traditional gender as a performance presentation in our work because we only have guys on our production team, and our plot is presented as sexualized, either.
We will also be incorporating weird costume design inspired by the thrift shop into our MV to reflect on the modern fashion trend
